End of April Update

Be on the lookout as our dry year produces some unusually good fishing in places that are normally still roaring. Some small stream action already looking good as of opening day. Meanwhile, the Lower Kings is cranking 'em out. Check out these fine fish caught by Fred Ramirez and Jim Grave.

Late April Report 2007

It's late April with opening day right around the corner. Scouting some of our local waters have found that many will be In great shape for the opener. Many mid-level (4000ft.-6000ft.) streams will be at best flows come opening day. Recent cold spell has slowed the run-off on the upper Kings river. Salmon-fly hatch Is going strong. Lower Kings flows will not rise till mid-May.

Justin Lazar got bragging rights on a recent trip.
