On the Brink of Summer

Sierra Fly Fisher is off to a busy start this year as lower water conditions have permitted streams to become fishable early. Thus far, we have yet to experience levels so low as to voice concern over stressing trout (due to warm temps) and clients are doing their share of "catching" in Yosemite National Park and adjacent waters along with Kings and Sequoia National Park waters. We anticipate a good season with the larger waters remaining strong and fishable. Recommended techniques are quite simply "the usual Sierra thing". Every technique has its moments although we favor the dry fly experience. Add some stellar scenery courtesy of mother nature to the mix and we are seeing a lot of smiles. Give us a call!
